Surrender - A Limerick.

Entwined in raw splendour,
a captured heart in ardour,
a silent cacophony
echoes the symphony
of sweet surrender.

Burned - A Limerick.

Timeless memories splash
each folly, a searing whiplash;
Slashes across the mind,
echoes of past love, naive & blind,
a captured heart, burned to ash.

Seethe - A Limerick.

Amidst a sea that seethes
& shatters sombre sheathes;
Dormant feelings erupt
an aura harsh & abrupt,
rages when she wildly breathes

Beware - A Limerick.

Limerick

A limerick is a form of verse, in five-line, predominantly anapestic meter with a strict rhyme scheme of AABBA, in which the first, second and fifth line rhyme, while the third and fourth lines are shorter and share a different rhyme.

This limerick is about impending betrayal.

Beware!

Dire warning of a jackdaw,
betrayal looms like a claw;
Don't fall in too deep,
& be lost in the void, so steep,
fragile heart needs to withdraw.
