Yearning - A Poem.

Cautioning lips
choose to linger
on gleaming neck
in honeyed hunger.

Leaping waves
of swift yearning
water thirsty roots
in succous pasture
of her awakening.

Night grows darker
as clasping arms
surrender last restraint
to mounting fervor.
